Case Report: Immediate Implant Placement with Autogenous Bone GBR for the Left Maxilla
I. Basic Information
Name: Ms. Wang
Gender: Female
Age: 56
Chief Complaint: Missing left maxillary posterior teeth for many years; requesting implant‑supported restoration.
Past Medical History: Denies any systemic diseases, and no known food or drug allergies.
Present Dental History: Tooth loss in the left maxillary region affecting mastication; presented to our clinic for consultation.
II. Clinical Examination
Intraoral examination was performed.

Radiographic examination was performed.

III. Diagnosis and Treatment Plan
Diagnosis: Missing left maxillary tooth (site #4).
Treatment Plan: Restoration‑driven approach with immediate extraction and immediate implantation, combined with autogenous bone grafting and GBR. One Hanzu® implant (size 5.0 × 11.5 mm) will be placed.
IV. Treatment Procedure
Under local anaesthesia, the involved tooth was extracted, the osteotomy was prepared, and the Hanzu® implant (5.0 × 11.5 mm) was placed. Autogenous bone was harvested and grafted simultaneously, followed by GBR. The definitive prosthesis was delivered at a subsequent visit.
